Today, Honor has released a new middle-class smartphone in India - Honor 8X. As the name suggests, the phone, launched in China last month, is the successor to the Honor 7X, which was launched last year.
As for the design of the phone, it comes with a back panel consisting of 15 layers, which the company calls "2.5D double textured aurora made of glass with a lattice effect".
Honor 8X has a large 6,5-inch Full HD + cut-out display, with an impressive 91 ratio of screen to body. Under the hood, the device is equipped with its own Kirin 8 710 nuclear processor, manufactured using the 12-nm process technology.
It comes in two versions based on memory configuration - 4 GB of RAM with 64 GB of internal memory and 6 GB of RAM with 64 GB or 128 GB of internal memory. There is also a microSD card slot, allowing you to further expand the capacity of the phone.
Coming to the camera compartment, it is equipped with an 20-megapixel primary sensor and an 2-megapixel secondary sensor on the rear panel, as well as an LED flash and AI-based scene recognition support that can identify up to 500 different scenes.
On the front side, the device is equipped with a 16-megapixel sensor for selfie. It comes with a 4-to-1 pixel binding for improved overall pixel size and support for AI-enhancing features.
It also features an integrated fingerprint sensor for added security. Connectivity on the device includes Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 AC (2,4 GHz / 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5 and GPS + GLONASS. It runs on the Android operating system 8.1 Oreo with the company's own EMUI 8.2 interface from above and is powered by a 3,750 mAh battery.
