Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is a cheaper alternative, while Meizu E3 is the most expensive, but their characteristics are not much different. Both devices have the same size and screen resolution, and Meizu E3 is a bit smaller in size. Both have a powerful and energy-efficient chipset Snapdragon 636, but Meizu E3 is equipped with 6GB of RAM and storage up to 128GB, while its opponent has 6GB of RAM and only 64GB of internal memory in the most expensive configuration.
Given that Meizu E3 has just become official, there is still no way to check the camera's characteristics, but on paper it looks more interesting with an 12 + 20-megapixel camera with a f / 1.9 f-stop and 2,5x lossless support. The display also looks better on Meizu E3 with LTPS technology and NTSC color gamut.
On the other hand, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a potentially better camera with a resolution of 20Mp, and a much larger battery (3360 mAh vs. 4000 mAh). Thus, the Redmi Note 5 Pro will probably be better for pictures of Selfie, and it will work much more on a single charge, even though Meizu E3 will still offer excellent battery life thanks to an energy-efficient chipset. Meizu E3 will be charged much faster due to the lower battery capacity and mCharge 3.0 technology, which can reach 53% charge in just 30 minutes.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro costs about $ 218 in a configuration with 4 / 64GB and about $ 265 with 6 / 128 GB of memory, and Meizu E3 costs $ 315 for 6 / 64 GB and $ 395 for 6 / 128 GB. Please note that these are prices in Asian countries, the phone has not yet entered the world market. With current prices, you better stay at Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro because of the higher price-performance ratio. But this does not mean that Meizu E3 is the worst device.
